• Certificate of Enlistment is issued u/s 118 of West Bengal Municipal Act, 1993 for any Trade, Profession or Calling.
• Rickshaw/Van License is also issued.
• Cost of Forms:
  1. Trade License Form : Rs. 30.00
  2. Rickshaw/Van License Form: Rs. 20.00
• Forms for New Trade License and Renewal thereof and Rickshaw/Van are sold from Front Office of all working days in the below-mentioned times:-
  • Mon to Fri: 10.30 AM to 1.00 PM and 2.15 PM to 3.00 PM
  • Sat: 7.30 AM to 9.00 AM
• Certificates are delivered from the Front Office after 7(Seven) working days from the date of application at the time given below:
  • Mon to Fri: 10.30 AM to 1.30 PM and 2.00 PM to 3.30 PM
  • Sat: 8.00 AM to 10.00 AM
• The charges for Trade License vary from a minimum of Rs. 20/- to a maximum of Rs. 1500/-
• Documents required for New/Renewal of Trade License are:

  1. Incorporation Certificate	1. Letter Head
  2. Rent Bill/ Up – to- date tax receipt	2. Rent Bill/ Up – to- date tax receipt
  3. Consent letter of the owner	3. Consent letter of the owner of the holding
  4. Copy of the last year’s Balance sheet Certificate	4. Copy of the last year’s Enlistment
  5. Copy of the last year’s Enlistment Certificate	5. Copy of the last year’s Enlistment Certificate
  6. Memorandum & Articles of Association

• Trade License is valid for the present financial year. If the Trade License is not renewed then a penalty of Rs. 100/- per year shall be levied while renewal.
